Been enjoying fortune cookie literally since it opened in los alamitos before moving down the street to technically seal beach in the Rossmoor center. Love the food here. Hard to go wrong with any dish really. The family style go to usually involved mushu pork, orange chicken, moo goo gai pan, wonton chicken, veggie lo mein, Mongolian beef, stir fried string beans, sweet and sour tofu, and Buddha's delight. It's all so delicious and leftovers reheat really well. Hard to pick a favorite item which is why we get all these so we don't have to choose. Portions are decent, price is reasonable, and the order( whether pickup or delivery) is always hot and ready pretty quickly after placing. Even inside the restaurant the food comes out quickly. Plenty of tables so you shouldn't have to wait too long unless it's a peak meal hour. Service and welcome staff are always great! If you haven't yet- pick up a meal here. Very reasonably priced and portioned lunch specials as well!

The location is great. A jewel in the shopping center. Plenty of parking. Clean and the staff friendly & attentive. Tommy is the BEST at this location. Food is good quality made fresh. Nothing ordered has ever been a disappointment. A favorite is one of the special dishes "House Beef Steak" Filet Mignon, stir-fried with fresh mushrooms, onions and bell peppers topped with black pepper sauce. Delicious! The Chop Suey so good. Ask for extra sprouts and light sauce. Yummy! Whatever you may order family style is your best option to enjoy a bit of this and that. They do offer lunch specials from 11:30 - pm. The pricing for lunch and dinner offerings are AFFORDABLE and generous portions. Enjoy your dinning!! Happy yelping :)

Good fortune is when healthy meets Chinese. We love Fortune Cookies Restaurant. My family used to dine here often when we lived close by. They offer healthy Chinese food that tastes really yummy. I heard a story where the owner was diabetic, and wanted to create a Chinese restaurant that was healthy (and tasty). There is a calorie counter of each item in their menu, and their menu is extensive. My husband and I came here for lunch today. Their lunch menu consists of choice of rice (brown, white, fried), soup, egg roll and main dish. I always get their crispy orange chicken, it is SO good! They also use good oil, so you don't feel greasy after your meal. Fortune Cookies relocated to the Rossmoor Center in Seal Beach, and I absolutely love their new model! Very clean, and great interior. Service is quick, and food is always tasty. Health is wealth, and Fortune Cookies offer us just that with some healthy tasty Chinese food

Food was great and quickly served during lunch time. I love that they had Mooshoo Chicken. Our waiter wasn't as friendly as he could've been and seemed a little inconvenienced for some reason. I'd definitely go back tho, maybe he was just having a bad day. If you have left overs scoop them yourself as my son was bummed they missed some on the plate . lol Giving a 4 instead of a 5 because of the politeness of the waiter.
